Norlec isn't just a business in Northern Victoria โ we're part of it. From the footy club to community housing services, we believe in giving back to the people and places that have supported us for over 20 years.
Our Community
Jeremy and Karen Rorke have been part of the Northern Victoria community their entire working lives. The following organisations mean something to us personally โ and we show that through action, not just words.
The Lockington Football Club is more than a footy club โ it's the heart of a small town that punches well above its weight. Norlec is a proud sponsor of the Bloods, supporting both the senior and junior programs across the Loddon Valley Football Netball League (LVFNL) โ More District League.
The More District League brings together country towns across Northern Victoria for competition that builds community bonds and keeps young people engaged with sport. Norlec supports the competition because we know firsthand how important these clubs are to the social fabric of regional Victoria.
The Rochester Community Fund works to enrich the quality of life for people living in and around Rochester. Norlec contributes to the Fund because Rochester is a key part of the region we work in and love โ and we want to see it thrive for the next generation.
The Lockington Pub is one of those places that holds a community together. We've been involved with the pub over the years through donations, fundraising support and just being there when it counted. When country pubs struggle, communities feel it โ and we think it's important to support them.
CLRS (Community Living and Respite Services) provides vital support to people with disabilities and their families across Northern Victoria, including supported accommodation and respite care. Norlec has an ongoing working relationship with CLRS โ carrying out electrical maintenance, upgrades and new work across their properties and facilities. We believe in the work CLRS does and we're proud to support them, both through our professional services and through community involvement.
Collaborations & Partnerships
Norlec's best work is often done alongside other great local businesses. Two partnerships stand out in particular.
Norlec has a strong working relationship with AWM Electrical Echuca, collaborating on projects across the region that require the combined capacity, expertise and resources of both businesses. AWM is one of the electrical supplies and services names we trust most โ which is why they feature prominently in the brands we work with. When a project needs scale, we work together. When supply needs to be right, we go to AWM. It's the kind of relationship that makes both businesses โ and their customers โ better.
One of the most meaningful collaborations has been work carried out jointly by Norlec and AWM Echuca in support of CLRS โ Community Living and Respite Services. Together, we've delivered electrical upgrades and installations across CLRS facilities that improve the safety, comfort and quality of life for residents with disabilities. This isn't just trade work โ it's a genuine partnership between local businesses who believe in giving back. We're proud of the work done here and look forward to continuing it.
If you're a local organisation looking for support, or a business wanting to collaborate on community-focused electrical work โ we'd love to hear from you.
